Ralph Mulder is Executive Director and Head of the Dutch Legal Desk at Donahue & Partners in New York. Since joining HVG Law in 2011, Ralph has built extensive international experience advising multinational corporations on complex cross-border corporate matters. He previously worked at the Dutch desk of Donahue & Partners in New York (2015-2019) and Chicago (2019-2024) before returning to New York in August 2024 to lead the Dutch Legal Desk.

Ralph is a Corporate Law & Transformation specialist with more than 15 years of experience advising global clients on large-scale international corporate restructurings, transformations, carve-outs, and post-acquisition integration projects. He regularly acts as the central legal coordinator and project manager for complex multi-jurisdictional transactions, coordinating local counsel and managing legal workstreams across numerous jurisdictions to ensure seamless execution and implementation of cross-border corporate projects.

Ralph graduated from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam with a master’s degree in Corporate Law (Master Ondernemingsrecht aan de Zuidas), a highly selective program focused on advanced corporate and business law. In May 2011, he was admitted to the Dutch Bar.

Throughout his career, Ralph has advised multinational corporations on some of their most significant restructuring and transformation initiatives, including complex carve-outs, integrations, legal entity rationalizations, and other strategic corporate transactions. His experience spans Europe and North America, having worked extensively with Dutch and international clients from mainly the US and Latam.

As Head of the Dutch Legal Desk in New York, Ralph serves as a strategic advisor to Dutch companies expanding into the United States and U.S.-based companies with operations or investments in the Netherlands or elsewhere, helping clients navigate complex cross-border legal, governance, and operational challenges.
